If you are interested in being an early tester for ForgeFIRM, send me a message.
I can send you a solder free serial console USB adapter to make installation easier and not require any physical changes to your machine. (free - while supplies last)
If you plan to do development work, let me know if you want an [SD card slot](https://community.openglow.org/t/sd-card-slot-installation/650) (soldering required). I have a few of those on hand still and can throw one in the box.
This offer is for those who will actively participate in the beta testing - sharing your experiences/issues, logs, feature feedback/suggestions, etc.
Must have a US mailing address, as exporting is a pain.
For those that have already reached out, your adapters will hit the mail on Tuesday.
The first beta build should be released in the next few days.

Hey Scott! I’m interested in getting involved. I have a Glowforge and would love to move off the cloud-dependent factory software. Could you send me a solder-free serial console USB adapter? Happy to actively test and report back issues as I find them. Thanks!

Hi Scott, I’ll be getting a Pro in a few weeks from a friend who just bought an Xtool. I just found this project and only because of this would consider buying her unit, lol. If you are open to shipping to Canada, I’d be interested. If not, maybe I can find a friend in the US you could mail it to and then they mail it to me. I can pay for postage. Thanks for your efforts.

Hi Scott, this is awesome. Was just looking for a way to break out of the cloud-based nonsense. I am also too new to send a private message, but if you have more solder-free USB adapters, I would love to try it out
