Obviously, the laser is disabled…
In the video, the laser is running a native Glowforge motion file from this GFUI setup (manual score, 500 speed at Full power):
I still need to do some fine tuning on the settings for the stepper drivers, but they’ve run every GFUI motion file I’ve thrown at them without issue - so far.
For sh*ts and giggles, here is the same file, but interpolated to 256 microsteps by the stepper drivers (Glowforge natively runs at 8 microsteps):
PS: The periodic clunking sounds you hear in the background are from the clothes dryer located in the same room, not the Glowforge.
